The former governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, has been remanded with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
Emefiele’s remand followed his arraignment on Monday alongside his co-defendant, Henry Omole, before Justice Rahmon Oshodi of the Ikeja high court.
The Federal Government is prosecuting the former CBN governor on fresh charges one of which is related to abuse of office.
The two defendants pleaded not guilty to the 26-count charges preferred against them.
