Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly Mudashiru Obasa has been impeached.
The former speaker who was reportedly impeached over gross misconduct and abuse of office, had been embroiled in series of corruption allegations.
Meanwhile, Hon. Mojisola Lasbat Meranda (Apapa I) has emerged as the new Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly.
Before her emergence as the Speaker, Meranda was the Deputy Speaker of the House of Assembly.
