Security operatives have reportedly seized Kano Emir palace.
Daily Trust is reporting that Emir Muhammadu Sanusi II was supposed to address some economists on the issue of the tax reforms bills.
Daily Intel is unable to independently confirm the report, but as at the time of filing the report, Police vehicles were said to have blocked entrance into the palace.
Leaders from the northern part of Nigeria has kicked against the tax reform bills introduced by President Bola Tinubu, saying it would destroy the region.
It is however not certain if Sanusi’s planned address on the bill was in support or against the stance of the North.
