South Korea’s parliament has voted to impeach acting President Han Duck-soo.
192 opposition lawmakers voted to impeach him out of the 300-member parliament few weeks after impeaching the former President for imposing marital law.
The opposition impeached Mr Han over his refusal to appoint three justices to fill vacancies at the constitutional court- where the former president is on trial.
Now that Mr Han – who is also prime minister – has been impeached, his finance minister Choi Sang-mok is set to take over as acting president.
