Contrary to the rumoured reports of the passing of Junior Pope late Wednesday, the President of Actors Guild of Nigeria, Emeka Rollas has said that the Nollywood actor is alive.
Many media sources including Daily Intel reported that the actor drowned alongside four of his colleagues in a certain river in Anambra while on their way to shoot a movie.
But reacting to the reports, Rollas in a post on his Instagram page said the actor is alive and was receiving treatment at an undisclosed hospital.
He wrote “What God cannot do does not exist. Junior Pope is alive.
“He is taking treatment in the hospital.”
