The Federal Civil Service Commission has promoted 332 federal civil servants from deputy directors to substantive Directors on Grade Level 17.
THISDAY reports the successful candidates from across the MDAs were unveiled yesterday at a recognition ceremony held in Abuja.
Some of those included, the Director Public Relations and Protocols, Ministry of Information and National Orientation, Sulaiman Haruna; Director Information Office of Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Segun Imohiosen; and Director Information Office of Head of Civil Service of the Federation, Mrs. Eno Olotu.
Also promoted was the Super Eagles medical doctor, Ibrahim Gyaran and Iliya Rhoda Ishaku of the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs.
The Office of Head of Civil Service of the Federation produced the largest numbers of those promoted (95) followed by the Office of the Accountant General of the Federation, which produced 62 beneficiaries.
The State House had five newly promoted directors.
The Head of Civil Service of the Federation, Mrs. Esther Didi Walson-Jack, said there would be a special package in terms of salaries for the promoted persons.
