A Non-Profit organisation, Oshodi Parapo Foundation has donated educational materials to 15 public schools in Oshodi, Lagos State.
The Convener of the Initiative and CEO, Solomons Ltd, Mr. Solomon Edukugho said the gesture is the foundation’s way of giving back to the society, adding that the donation would boost education in Lagos state.
He said the foundation is building upon its established charity projects focused on education and that the foundation is on a mission to provide essential learning materials to schools, starting with a donation of free exercise books.
He said “Education has long been hailed as the key to unlocking a brighter future; yet for many students across the state, financial constraints have stood as insurmountable barriers to accessing quality education.
“What we did today it’s just a way of giving back to the community, the government cannot do it alone.”
Aside from the donations of educational materials, the Oshodi Parapo Foundation also sensitized students and teachers on proper waste management.
