The Lebanese Health Ministry said on Monday that about 100 people have been killed and more than 300 injured in the Israeli latest airstrikes
In a statement, the ministry’s Public Health Emergency Operations Centre said Israel’s prolonged raids on southern Lebanese towns and villages had led to what it described as “an initial toll,” meaning the numbers were expected to rise.
According according to the statement, among the dead and wounded were children, women and paramedics.
The Israeli army said on Monday that it had attacked more than 300 targets linked to the Hezbollah militia in Lebanon.
Recall that Hezbollah had launched barrage of rockets into northern Israel in what it termed a revenge attack of the killing of its commander and the coordinated explosion of pager devices targeted at it by the Israeli that left many dead and scores injured.
