The Senate Committee on Public Conduct, Ethics, Privileges and Public Petitions on Thursday recommended the suspension of the Kogi Central Senator, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, for a period of six months.
The Committee said during the suspension, her salary would be stopped and security details withdrawn.
The Committee’s chairman, Senator Neda Imasuen, who presented the panel’s report at plenary asserted that Senator Natasha was guilty of all allegations against her as she failed to submit herself to the legislative Committee for the review of her conduct.
The committee also recommended that the Senator must apologise to the Senate for ‘disrespecting the Senate.”
