The Police has arrested a suspect of the tragic stabbing incident which claimed the life of a mechanic, whose name was later known to be Chukwu Chukwudi, at the Kugbo mechanic, Abuja.
Daily Intel Newspaper reported how a mechanic, popularly known as Yellow Bobo, was stabbed to death by a soldier, at the Kugbo mechanic, following an argument that ensued on Thursday.
Daily Intel Newspaper also reported that the soldier fled the scene while angry mobs immediately mobilised in search of the fleeing soldier.
A statement by the FCT police public relations officer, Josephine Adeh, on Friday, disclosed that one Tijani Uzairu, has been arrested in connection with the murder and that other suspects including the soldier who is believed to be the prime suspect was still at large.
The statement said normalcy had been restored to the area, adding that the FCT police Commissioner, Benneth Igweh, has since ordered an investigation into the matter.
