Nasarawa State Governor Abdullahi Sule has expressed satisfaction with the peaceful conduct of local government elections across the thirteen area Council of the state.
Governor Sule equally commended the electoral body and the people shortly after casting his vote at Gudi market polling unit in Akwanga Local Government area of the state.
The governor who casted his vote alongside his wife Salifat expressed satisfaction with the conduct of the exercise.
The ruling All Progressives Congress and ten other political parties participated in the local government polls while the PDP and ANPP boycotted, alleging pre-election irregularities.
Daily Intel gathered that Gudi market polling unit and other polling units in Gudi, Akwanga local government area and other parts of Nasarawa state witnessed a low turn out of voters who were orderly as they carried out their civic duty.
The Chairman of the State Independent Electoral Commission, NASIEC, Ayuba Wandai was also in Gudi and other areas supervising the voting process.
