President of the Nigeria Labour Congress Joe Ajaero has been released by the Department of State Services, DSS.
Ajaero was arrested on Monday morning by security operatives at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja, on his way to the United Kingdom on the invitation of the Trade Union Congress, TUC of the Uk
Daily Intel Newspaper gathered that Ajaero was released in the middle of the night, with his passport siezed.
However, it was learnt that the National Executive Council of the NLC will meet this morning to take a decision on the arrest and detention of Joe Ajaero.
