The vulnerable groups living in Nigeria’s capital and individuals with disabilities have applauded the generous donations of meat by the UAE Embassy, during this year’s Eid ul -Adha celebrations.
Daily Intel Newspaper gathered that the donation was made in partnership with Helpline Social Support Initiative.
Founder of Helpline Social Support Initiative, Dr. Jumai Ahmadu, who thanked the UAE embassy for making positive impact in the communities said the gesture demonstrates the embassy’s commitment to support the vulnerable of society through spreading of joy and compassion to those in need.
Dr. Jumai further thanked the embassy for identifying with Helpline Social Support Initiative in last three years.
She called on other relevant organisations at all levels to go beyond funfairs that characterized every festive period and use the occasion to empower the vulnerable in the society.
