As part of the ongoing harmonization of Ministries, Departments and Agencies, MDA’s, President Bola Tinubu on Thursday approved the relocation of National Agency for the Control of AIDS, NACA, to the Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare.
The President also approved the appointment of Dr. Temitope Ilori who replaced Dr. Gambo Aliyu, for initial term of four years
NACA was previously domiciled in the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation.
Ajuri Ngelale, the Special Adviser to the President on Media & Publicity, in a statement said the relocation is to foster synergy and enhance collaboration in pursuit of the nation’s goal to achieve the 95-95-95 pathway for ending the AIDS epidemic.
