The Abia State government has confirmed the resignation of two commissioners from Governor Alex Otti’s cabinet.
They are Chima Oriaku, Commissioner for Science and Technology, and Monica Ironkwe, Agriculture Commissioner.
Daily Intel Newspaper could not immediately ascertain the cause of their resignation.
But a statement by Ukoha Ukoha, chief press secretary to Otti, on Wednesday confirmed their resignation.
Ukoha said the governor appreciated the commissioners for their service to the state and wished them well in their future endeavours.
